MR BEAST'S CONTENT SECRET: THE POWER OF REPEATABLE SERIES

Marketers love to see themselves as creatives, but I’ve come to realise that over-optimising for creativity is what holds so many marketers back.

They want to create new trends, come up with fresh content ideas, and make everything brand new. Yet they forget that humans are inherently attracted to things that stay the same.

And the same goes when we consume content too.

Just take a look at any of the biggest content creators in the world today:

  • Joe Rogan: Consistently puts out long-form deep conversations.

  • Mr Beast: Consistently puts out fast-paced gamified/challenge videos.

  • TikTokers: Consistently put out GRWM or mini-vlogs.

This isn’t a coincidence, this is causation.

When people like the style of content you put out, they want to see more of the same - not some crazy new fresh ideas.

That’s why I’ve spent the last few months obsessing over ‘Repeatable Content Series’.

Because no matter whether you’re putting out brand content or personal content if you want to have the reach and impact the most viral creators in the world have - you have to master the creation of repeatable content series.

Over the next 3 minutes, I’m going to walk you through the core concept, key ways you can create these series, and how to extrapolate to create a viral-worthy content strategy (with examples).

Here’s how to master virality with repeatable content series:

1/ THE CONCEPT: What are Repeatable Content Series?

A repeatable content series is a specific, consistent format you use regularly in your strategy. Think of it as a more focused version of a content pillar.

With content pillars, you might say, “Leadership Content.” But with a content series would take that idea further and create a video series breaking down “Good vs Bad Leadership.” It’s not just a concept, it’s a format you repeat.

This isn’t something I’ve magically thought up though, this is something the best content minds in the world are already masters of. Just take a look at Mr Beast’s most popular videos:

4 of his most popular videos of all time are called:

  • $1 vs $500,000 Plane Ticket!

  • $1 vs $1,000,000 Yacht!

  • $1 vs $1,000,000 Hotel Room!

  • $1 vs $100,000,000 Car!

Do you see the repeatable series?

He’s just doing the same thing again and again and people love it even more each time.

This is what great content looks like, but the question is… how do you create it?

Answer: You start with volume.

2/ GETTING STARTED: Volume Matters

There are 3 simple steps for finding viral content series:

Step 1: Understand Why You’re Posting

When you reframe posting content as an attempt to find your next repeatable content series, the whole way you create content begins to change.

You can no longer share throwaway posts, you need to publish ideas that can be repeated.

Step 2: Throw Mud At The Wall

When you understand the outcome you’re looking for (a signal people enjoy the series) you start to see each post as an experiment.

When you reach this stage, you’re on the right track, now it’s just a case of throwing mud at the wall.

  • Post more.

  • Get more creative.

  • Pump out different series.

Step 3: Look For Signals

Once the volume is going out get your ear to the ground and look for any signals that the experiment has some potential.

A signal could be:

  • High-quality comments.

  • Engagement from your target audience.

  • Or shares & saves on the post.

If you miss the signals, you miss the opportunity - so be on the lookout.

Once you see those signals, you have your repeatable content series. Which leaves you with one last question… how do you repeat it?

3/ REPEATING THE SERIES: The Art Of Extrapolation

Ironically, most marketers will already have 100s of repeatable content series in their back pocket. The issue is, they never realised it was a repeatable series and never capitalised on it.

So once you have a post that hits, you can extrapolate & repeat the series in 3 ways:

Option 1: Repeat The Format

A few months back I shared this graph on my LinkedIn:

It quickly picked up steam and ended up going viral.

  • 230,000+ views.

  • 1100+ likes.

  • 150+ reposts.

But I quickly clocked the big repeatable piece here was not just the content I was writing, it was the graph I’d shared - and there were clear signals to show it.

  • My comments were full of people offering insights on my placements.

  • People were arguing certain tactics should be placed differently.

  • Others were clapping and agreeing with me.

The graph worked and I needed to repeat the format. So, a week later I did.

I did “B2B Content in 2025” - and got great results.

Then I did “Social Media in 2024” - and got great results again.

The contents of the posts changed dramatically each time, yet the format (the graph style) was repeated.

Option 2: Repeat The Concept

In a similar way to the graph series, a few weeks back I shared this carousel breaking down “Good Vs Bad Content”.

Again, it quickly picked up steam and went viral.

But this time, the repeatable and viral aspect of it wasn’t just the fact I had a comparison on the front cover - it was the “Good Vs Bad” concept.

(People love to see if they are roped into the good or the bad category.)

So a few weeks later, I created another “Good Vs Bad” carousel but this time around marketing.

The results were great, so I repeated the series again a few days ago with another content comparison…

It currently sits on 190,000 views and 100s of reposts.

I now know people like to see this type of content from me and I will keep giving them more of it!

Option 3: Repeat The Angle

After my first viral carousel on “Good Vs Bad Content” I noticed that people enjoyed me breaking down B2B content.

  • It was talked about in the comments.

  • People were asking for more.

  • The engagement was great.

The signals were very clear, so rather than just repeating the carousel format I repeated the angle - breaking down B2B content.

I did that by creating new carousels on “Brands Doing Content Right”.

Again, these went viral.

It’s a different format, a different concept, but the angle of the content is now repeatable - and ironically created a completely new series.

Once you’re at the point where you have 7-8 repeatable content series you can rely on… well, you’ve won the content game. All you have to do is keep repeating them and every so often throw in a new experiment - if it works, add it to the rotation.

Content really is simple when you look at it as series, yet it’s series that turn into the best content.
